Impostor syndrome definition: (also known as impostor phenomenon, impostorism, fraud syndrome or the impostor experience) is a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a “fraud”.
Through this discussion Lisbeth openly shares that she struggled and sometimes still struggles, with an internal voice telling her she is a fraud. “What if I don’t know what I am talking about?” “why would anyone want to listen to me?” Often times there is a small voice inside all of us trying to deter us from our dreams. The Imposter syndrome is telling us we aren’t worth the effort. Lisbeth passionately teaches now on how to overcome this negative self-talk. How to conquer the internal doubt to smash the imposter syndrome and step into your own power! Her talk, “I am NOT a Fraud… how to step out of Imposter Syndrome and into Possibility” is a story of self-discovery delivered with real and easy to integrate tools for fighting the negative narrative in our minds and living into our true power.
Lisbeth Janelle is a woman who has finally found her voice. After working for 10 years in the oil and gas industry traveling around the world and then experiencing complete corporate burnout, in 2016 she stepped into a new path of self-discovery through teaching yoga and mindfulness and co-founding The Power Trippers, using travel experiences to teach students in international schools leadership and mindfulness tools. However, It wasn’t until sitting in a coffee shop in Houston two years ago she discovered her expanded purpose of delivering mindfulness, yoga, and leadership to corporations in a way that could also support community impact and delivering the same empowerment and healing to survivors of human trafficking and their service providers.  The Good Yoga Project was born.  Using her background as a 500 hr RYT and 200 hr E-RYT, utilizing her roots as a Tier 2 certified educator in Baptiste Yoga, and applying her current studies from IE University in Madrid obtaining her master’s degree in Positive Leadership, Strategy, and Transformation, Lisbeth has since co-created the “I AM” programs for survivors with United Against Human Trafficking, co-hosts Champagne and Yoga (a monthly yoga event supporting local charities, leads the Unstoppable Training for Youth to teachers and youth workers in the community through the Baptiste Foundation, teaches terrestrial and SUP yoga for Shaka Power Yoga, co-founded Ripple SUP Yoga Teacher Training, and designed a web based impact driven mindfulness course platform for corporations where employee participation can contribute by earning funds towards expanding community efforts and survivor classes.
