Kai Lewis is an instructor of Tai Chi, Qi Gong and several South East Asian styles of martial arts (Pencak Silat and Escrima). He has completed his 200 yoga teacher hours under Robert Boustany in the Pralaya Yoga system and has studied Buddhist/Daoist meditation and cultivation practices over the years.

Kai’s interests lie in the practical methods of martial arts, healing, meditation, and yoga and applying these arts and their applications in a modern context. He has taught for many years public classes as part of the MD Anderson Integrative Medicine Center team, sharing the health benefits of Tai Chi and Qi Gong with the hospital’s cancer patients, caregivers and staff. Currently he teaches at Rice University, Pralaya Yoga, and Houston Martial Arts Academy.
